Solid Tiled Conservatory Roof and Frames Replacement

With the addition of the new roof we have a great space that we can use all year round.

What our customer said

Mr and Mrs Webster got in touch after a couple of unsuccessful attempts to find a supplier who could replace their old glass and wooden conservatory roof.

Andy said, ‘Everyone at SolarFrame was really helpful, we were given a quote and the technical guy who came out to do the drawings came up with a solution that was what we were looking for. The offer of interest free credit and the option to stagger payment was very attractive too.

‘I think the Covid restrictions had a bit of an impact and we had to wait around 3 months for the installation of the new roof but now that the work’s done we’re really pleased with it.  The old wooden roof was looking a bit weather beaten and was starting to rot and the old blinds were well past their best too so it would have cost quite a bit to smarten everything up without really improving things.

‘With the old roof the conservatory was too hot to use in summer and, in the winter, unless the heating was on all the time, it was too cold.  With the new roof the conservatory feels like part of the house, an extra room, rather than an add-on that could rarely be used.  We’ll be using it as a dining room now but there’s also room for a TV so all the arguments about who watches what will be solved too.  With the addition of the new roof we have a great space that we can use all year round.

‘We’re very pleased with the work that SolarFrame have done and we’d definitely recommend them to friends and family.’
