Mr and Mrs Manby had their conservatory roof replaced and now they’re looking forward to getting much more use out of the space.
Mrs Manby told us:
We’d been thinking about getting the roof replaced for a while and when the SolarFrame leaflet dropped through the door we were impressed with what we saw. To be honest, the interest free credit and staggered payments played a part in our decision too, it’s reassuring to know that you’ll see the work done before handing over all the whole payment. We gave SolarFrame a call and a salesman came to see us to talk us through our options. We gave it some thought for a few days a decided to go ahead with the work.
Mr Manby took up the story, ‘Our old polycarbonate roof had started to deteriorate and we were also looking for a more energy efficient solution. We found that, with the old roof, we needed to supplement the heating in winter to keep the room warm enough and in summer we often found it too hot. We use the conservatory as a breakfast room and sitting room so it really is an important part of the house. We liked what we saw in the SolarFrame brochure and once we’d decided to go with the company a surveyor came out to look at the job and shortly after we were given a timeline for the work.
‘The fitters were without exception good natured and professional and all did a great job. There were a couple of hitches along the way, a broken-down van unfortunately caused a couple of days delay, but SolarFrame dealt with things well and managed to rearrange work schedules as necessary. The job took around three weeks rather than the two we’d expected but we are really very satisfied with the end result. The new roof will give us much more usability of the conservatory and I expect that we’ll see a reduction in heating bills too.
