When Mrs and Mrs Turner-Lindley in Leeds approached SolarFrame, they wanted to transform their home with a bright, modern extension. They envisioned a single-storey extension that would create a bright, welcoming area to dine, relax, and enjoy views of their garden all year round.
Working closely with our Design Consultant they opted for a single-storey lean-to extension that complements the character of their home while introducing a contemporary touch.
Our team took great care to brick-match the existing Yorkshire stonework, ensuring the new extension blended seamlessly with the original house. This attention to detail means the extension looks like a natural continuation of the home, not an afterthought.
To maximise daylight, we incorporated centre-pivot roof lights to create an airy, open feel throughout the day. Large sliding patio doors were fitted opening directly onto the garden to create a smooth connection between indoor and outdoor spaces.
The finished home extension in Leeds has transformed how the Turner-Lindleys use their home. The new space now serves as a spacious dining and extended living area, perfect for family meals, social gatherings, and quiet evenings at home.
