The Lydon family approached SolarFrame looking to replace their existing polycarbonate roof with a SolarFrame state-of-the-art solid roof. They opted for a Victorian roof style in smoked oak shingle tiles to match the existing style of their home.
Mrs Lydon said: "We had a large conservatory which we could literally use as a fridge over winter. There are other cheaper ways of adding internal insulation but it remains a conservatory with padding. We asked SolarFrame to come and give us a quote for a replacement roof. Rob (sales) visited us. He was very knowledgeable, showing us samples, explaining about the layers of insulation and the complete service we would receive. We could even have a small flat roof covered by the new roof design. He wasn't pushy, just helpful."
Mrs Lydon added: "On deciding to go ahead we were given our installation co-ordinator Kat. Throughout the whole process she has kept us informed of who was coming and was quick to sort any concerns. Our fitters Andy & Carl were very friendly. I couldn't believe how quick the roof came off and we were watertight within the day. Our plasterer Terry and his team did a really neat job which totally transformed the inside. The electrician Garry fitted both internal ceiling lights , wall light and external lights. Everyone respected our property and cleaned up each visit. Finally our technician Chris who does the final checks, did a great job with applying a trim to enhance the finish."
She continued: "Kat our coordinator has sent all our paperwork off to building regs. & her ongoing support should we have any issues. We now have a beautiful additional room we will be able to use year round. Excellent job SolarFrame."
