Top 10 spring home trends

Spring is almost around the corner and you might be thinking about updating your home. Like fashion, home trends also change, and here at SolarFrame we have our finger on the pulse on what’s up and coming. Here’s what we predict you’ll start to see on the high street…

Bigger sofas

The bigger, the better! We’ve spent a lot of time together over the last couple of years and it appears the trend will carry on with huge family-size sofas. If you don’t have the space, why not consider a new single story extension – perfect for that family-time.

Bringing the outside in is a definite trend for 2022. Plants can add a pop of colour to your room, and of course make us feel that Spring is on its way.

Seventies

Remember it the first time around? Like any amazing trend, they do return. Look out for velvet, geometric prints, scalloped shapes and maybe even tinted glass. Are you game?

Zen spaces

Wellbeing and metal health have certainly been challenged recently. Creating a chill-out space where you can relax, tune out and get some me-time are said to be on the rise. A garden studio could be the answer. Why not explore our range?

Lilac

You might even have lilac in your wardrobe already, but it will be hitting the high streets soon. It’s a natural follow on to the pink rooms that many now have and it has been announced as the Pantone colour of the year! We love it as it does feel like Spring has arrived.

Cottagecore

It’s been around for a couple of years already but Instagram are still seeing lots of images being posted. Think traditional touches like parquet floor, exposed beams and bare brick. Really cosy and homely.

Statement chairs

Add a touch of style to your living space with a unique chair. Look out for organic shapes in bright colours. Not just for sitting on, this chair is set to be a piece of art.

Wall shelves

Not just one or two, but an entire wall of shelves is an up-and-coming trend! You can incorporate your TV into the space, or go studious with a wall of books. Whatever you do, go big.
